About the Artist

Cassy’s roots are in Wisconsin, and her love of art has taken her around the world. From studying in Italy to sketching in St. Andrews, Scotland, the homeland of golf, Cassy has created art for iconic golf courses, destinations, and private collectors. She has immersed herself in the pursuit of her dream and the tradition of fine art.

Her studio is located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. There, with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella, Cassy creates original paintings, along with sports and lifestyle artwork. She looks forward to the future of her sports paintings and corporate partnerships, furthering her mission to use her art to make a difference in the lives of others.

The term “relief” originates from the Latin verb levo, which means “to raise.” Cassy incorporates relief into her paintings by expertly combining her knowledge of painting and sculpting to create striking masterpieces.

Every painting is created in Cassy’s signature relief-painting technique, blending contemporary painting methods with historic ceramic relief sculpting techniques. She utilizes acrylic gel mediums and fine art sand to manipulate paint like clay, increasing the level of relief and illusion of perspective. Hints of iridescent color provide a subtle play of light.
