Your Purchase of Cassy's "Glory" Ornament Benefits Project Angel Hugs

This holiday season, Cassy Tully’s 2017 Collectors Edition ornaments offers you the opportunity to give children with cancer the healing gift of creativity.

When you purchase Glory, Cassy’s newest ornament, a box of crayons and an angel-themed coloring page will be donated to Project Angel Hugs in Plymouth, WI, the organization dedicated to ministering to the emotional needs of children with cancer and their families. This donation will be made each time Glory is purchased, either in Cassy’s studio or from her online shop.

Thanks to the countless families who have collected Cassy’s ornaments, making them a part of holiday memories, her ornament tradition is now in its sixth year, with Glory celebrating the blessings of the holidays. Each 4” glass bulb is hand-painted with an angel, featuring a dusting of paint that glows in the dark. They are signed and dated, making a gift that encourages us to pass along the grace, beauty and love in our lives.

“Crayons and coloring pages honor the children’s courage and empowers their healing through creativity,” Cassy said. “This year’s angel theme ornament is close to my heart as I am grateful for the angels in my life. In turn, Glory is a reminder of the hope, compassion and all that is good about giving to others during the holidays and always.”

Chari Perl, executive director of Project Angel Hugs, said each year, volunteers pack and send more than 230 boxes, gifts and cards to children with cancer and their siblings. These are sent for holidays and birthdays; gift cards are also sent to older children.

“We are thankful to everyone who purchases Glory so our children can express their creativity,” said Chari. “Our families receive gifts several times each year, and sending these items along will boost the spirits of these children.”

Chari also said that volunteers for Project Angel Hugs are instrumental in signing cards, preparing Christmas boxes, hosting fund raisers and bake sales, and ministering as Prayer Warriors.

Glory ornaments can be purchased by visiting Cassy’s online shop or at her studio in downtown Plymouth; this donation is not tax-deductible.
