Cassy Tully Art Featuring Erin Hills Golf Course for Next 18 Auction to Benefit Veterans

Erin, WI -  Next 18, the organization whose mission is to use the sport of golf as a conduit to provide transformational mental health resources and holistic life resource training to veterans and first responders, is pleased to announce that they have commissioned golf artist and philanthropist Cassy Tully to create a 12 X 24” original work of art of Hole #18 at Erin Hills Golf Course to benefit a three-week online auction in May, 2024.View the auction catalog and place your bid here.

Anchoring Cassy’s painting is the expansive timber-and-stone clubhouse of Erin Hills, flanked by the Caddie Barn. Shrouded in mist, the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, at nearby Holy Hill is visible in the background, replicating the mystical feeling that the area is known for. This beautiful painting will include sand from the course, adding dimension and a textural feel.

“Cassy’s mission of giving back by using her artistic talents is an ideal alignment with our mission,” said Matt McDonell, executive director of Next 18. “Her love of golf, paired with her easily recognizable painting style, is sure to generate an exciting painting of this memorable course to benefit the veterans and first responders we are honored to serve.”

With its roots in the Kettle Moraine area, carved by glaciers and surrounded by wetlands and a river, Erin Hills Golf Course is a mix of traditional and modern elements, as well as a champion test that leaves many golfers feeling as though they’ve never played elsewhere. The windswept 18-hole links-style course hosted the 2017 U.S. Open; the 2022 U.S. Mid-Amateur, and will host the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open Championship.

“I am honored to partner with Next 18 to paint an original work of art to benefit the important mission of this inspiring organization,” Cassy said. “Showcasing legendary Erin Hills on canvas is an exciting blend of giving back and art, and the online auction will be beneficial for the veterans and families of Next 18.”

XXIO to Host Cassy Tully for XXIO Dealer Conference at Kiawah Island Golf Resort

XXIO is pleased to continue its partnership with sports and lifestyle artist Cassy Tully, welcoming her once again to its annual XXIO Dealer Conference at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in S.C., on May 7 - 10, 2023. Known for its championship courses and top-level tournaments, the resort is a remarkable setting for this annual event.

Cassy has captured the natural beauty in her limited-edition prints, featuring the Ocean Course Clubhouse, anchoring a panoramic sweep of the 14th Hole. Cassy’s signature relief-painting style captures the clubhouse’s weathered exterior and wraparound porches, overlooking the exposed par-3 hole. The demanding Ocean Course, designed by legendary golf course architect Pete Dye, offers unobstructed views of the coastline, along with challenging conditions thanks to the Atlantic Ocean’s unpredictable breezes.

XXIO will host Cassy at this event to present her art at a special awards dinner, where each guest will receive a beautiful limited-edition print as a gift. After the event, Cassy will be available to meet guests to sign and personalize their print.

These prints are now part of the suite of XXIO’s commissioned golf collection, featuring Cassy’s artwork of Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, Pebble Beach, and Kiawah Island Golf Resort. The Dealer Conference is the perfect opportunity for guests to expand their golf collection and bring home a personalized memory of these iconic courses.

“I am honored to partner with XXIO to create keepsake artwork of these championship courses,” Cassy said. “Meeting XXIO’s top achievers and golf industry professionals from across the country is an honor and an inspiration.”

“We are pleased to hold this conference at a championship setting like Kiawah Island,” said Chuck Thiry of XXIO. “Commissioning a talented artist like Cassy to create a limited-edition print for our guests to take home makes this event even more memorable.”

Yellowstone Commissioned Masterpiece

What a memorable time at Yellowstone Country Club! This week, Cassy unveiled their commissioned masterpieces during their annual Member-Guest golf tournament.

It has been a joy to work with the team and Cassy is honored and grateful to have her original artwork in the club’s permanent collection.

”When I began this project six months ago, I never imagined the adventure and art that would unfold. Montana is truly God’s country,” Cassy said. “Big Sky and breathtaking, undisturbed landscapes, genuinely good people, a place to hug a horse and feel peace. My creative well runs over, and I can’t wait to carry forth the inspiration into my next projects. I am forever blessed and grateful.”

Unveiling "Once In a Lifetime"

Cassy welcomed her newest Collectors Jeff and Christina to her studio for a special unveiling and surprise celebration! In March, Jeff commissioned Cassy to create an original painting of C Lazy U Ranch, where their family has often traveled to enjoy memorable vacations trail riding the western landscape. The painting was created in honor of the couple’s 15th wedding anniversary. Christina has followed Cassy’s work for many years and expressed a wish to someday have her own Cassy Tully original painting, so Jeff felt this was the ideal time to surprise her.

Once In a Lifetime features Cassy’s signature relief-painting technique, with acrylic gel mediums blended into a panoramic composition. Wildflowers and rustic trees have glittering glass beads, with the rugged mountains and clear, running water blended into a tranquil setting. Cassy’s affection for horses and landscape come to life, as each horse is painted in great detail to represent the horses the family rides and bonds with at the ranch.

“It was a treasured moment that was made more special by Jeff’s wish to honor their family and marriage in such a memorable way,” Cassy said.

Although this painting could be painted only once in a lifetime, the memories live on as their new masterpiece now hangs in a place of honor above their mantel.
