Olympia Fields Golf Course, Host of 2023 BMW Championship, to Feature Cassy Tully Original Artwork

The 2023 BMW Championship will take place at Olympia Fields Country Club, Olympia Fields, IL, on August 15 - 20, 2023. Cassy, whose sports and lifestyle paintings are collected internationally, created an original masterpiece for the championship.

The nationally ranked North Course is one of Golf Digest’s “Top 100 Greatest Courses,” with Olympia Fields hosting the 2002 U.S. Open, the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and the 2020 BMW Championship.

Cassy’s 24 X 30” painting depicts the triumphant moment of the world’s top-ranked golfer Jon Rahm sinking a 66-foot putt to win the 2020 BMW Championship, with the scene anchored by the club’s majestic clock tower.

“One of the greatest joys of being a golf artist is depicting the moments when preparation, skill, and ingenuity meet to create remarkable golf moments,” Cassy said. “Showing the top ranked Jon Rahm at the point of victory creates a feeling on canvas that’s palpable.”

A limited edition series of prints, posters and ornaments will be created from Cassy’s painting, available in the merchandise tent during the championship. She will also be available during an exclusive Members Preview Party on August 12th to sign and personalize prints and ornaments. This is a wonderful opportunity for Olympia Fields Members to meet Cassy and learn more about her golf-inspired artwork.

The North Course at Olympia Fields was designed in 1923 by Willie Park, Jr., two-time Open Champion and grandfather of inland golf design. Cassy’s painting depicts the beauty and grace of Park’s design through her signature relief-painting technique.

North Shore Country Club Commissions Artist Cassy Tully for 121st Western Amateur

The 121st Western Amateur will take place on July 31 - August 5, 2023, at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, IL. Cassy Tully, whose sports and lifestyle paintings are collected internationally, was commissioned to create an original painting for the event.

Founded in 1900, North Shore Country Club features a 7,031-yard, 18-hole golf course designed by English architect Hugh Alison. North Shore has hosted multiple national tournaments, including the 1933 U.S. Open and 1939 and 1983 U.S. Amateur. This year, North Shore will be hosting the 121st Western Amateur, renowned for being the toughest test in amateur golf and a prestigious national championship since its founding in 1899. The Club last hosted the tournament in 2011.

The Western Amateur is presented by the Western Golf Association, which conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of youth caddies, and supports the Evans Scholars Foundation’s efforts to award full tuition and housing college scholarships, providing a program that addresses barriers to college success.

Cassy’s painting features the par-4, 412-yard 9th hole. Created in her signature relief-painting style, the view is anchored by the majestic clubhouse that overlooks a sweeping, emerald fairway. Honoring the Evans Scholars Foundation’s mission of supporting high-achieving caddies, the painting prominently features a golfer and caddy walking together in their approach from fairway to green. The caddy’s bib displays the iconic WGA and Evans Scholars logo. The painting will be reproduced as prints, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Evans Scholars Foundation.

“My painting highlights the true partnership between a golfer and caddy,” Cassy said. “It is my mission to use my talent to give back, and there is no better opportunity in golf than supporting the WGA and Evans Scholars Foundation.”

Cassy’s original commissioned paintings, prints and golf-inspired masterpieces are available by visiting www.cassytully.com. Watch Cassy’s video about the event here.

Cassy Tully - Fine Art Studio Temporary Location

Montana’s expansive sky, majestic mountains, and wild horses have beckoned generations of explorers, artists, and those who treasure its endless allure. Cassy Tully, sports and lifestyle artist, is following their trail, continuing her artistic journey by temporarily relocating her studio in beautiful Billings, MT. Her paintings are showcased at some of the most prestigious clubs in the country, and the new location offers refreshing opportunities for her to paint large-scale masterpieces, inspired by the area’s legendary landscape.

“I first traveled to Billings in 2022 to paint the breathtaking golf course of Yellowstone Country Club,” Cassy said. “I’m grateful for Yellowstone’s patronage as I have been captivated by Montana’s vast landscape, cowgirl lifestyle and endless inspiration ever since my first visit. This is truly God’s country.”

Cassy’s championship golf and sports art includes working with the PGA of America, Western Golf Association, XXIO, Destination Kohler, United States Golf Association, Veteran Golfers Association, Arnold Palmer, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Her travels in 2022 included her partnership with XXIO, who welcomed her to its annual XXIO Dealer Conference at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina and Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI, along with the Father-Son Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach, six-time host of the U.S. Open Championship and the number one public golf course and resort in America.

Many of these experiences included her signature Member-Guest golf event, when celebrated courses commissioned Cassy to create an original work of art as tee gifts.

“Member-Guest tee gift projects have increased in popularity,” she said. “Pairing my commissioned painting with limited-edition prints and an on-site visit with me is a memorable way to celebrate each club’s beauty and also provide a timeless gift.”

Cassy’s temporary studio is the ideal place for her commissioned golf, sports, and lifestyle projects to flourish under the Big Sky. She will continue engaging her devoted followers by sharing her creative process on her social media channels.

“My online shop, a phone call, or messaging the studio through my website and social channels remain the best way to contact me,” Cassy said. “Grace, faith, and fine art led me to Montana. This is a beautiful stop in my journey and I can’t wait to share it with my followers.”

Cassy Tully Original Painting Celebrates 2022 BMW Championship, Legendary Host Wilmington Country Club

Cassy Tully, whose sports and lifestyle paintings are collected internationally, will once again partner with the Western Golf Association to create original artwork for the 2022 BMW Championship, taking place at the historic Wilmington Country Club, Wilmington, DE., from August 16 - 21, 2022.

Her 18 x 36” original painting features a spectator’s view of the Championship South Course’s ninth green and the iconic Clover Hill barn. Wilmington’s sweeping fairways are lined by gracious trees, strategically placed bunkers and a challenging water hazard.

The Championship South Course opened for play in October, 1959. It was renovated by Keith Foster in 2008 and in 2009 was named by Golf Digest as the sixth best course remodel.

“My painting depicts the excitement of the PGA TOUR FedEx Cup Playoffs when one of the world's finest tournaments comes to Wilmington, Delaware for the first time,” Cassy said.  “My artwork honors my continued support of the Evans Scholars Foundation.”

Cassy also created the official 18 x 24” poster and Collectors Edition Ornaments and will be in the merchandise tent during the event for signing and personalization. This is the ideal opportunity for golf enthusiasts to bring home memories of the 2022 BMW Championship. Posters will also be available in Cassy’s online shop.

Her previous championship artwork includes the 2021 BMW Championship, held at Caves Valley Golf Club; the 2020 BMW Championship, held at Olympia Fields Country Club; the 2019 BMW Championship, held at Medinah Country Club, and the 2018 BMW Championship, held at Aronimink Golf Club.

Wilmington Country Club was formed in 1901; this year marks the first time that the BMW Championship has been held in Delaware and the third time since 2018 that the event has been held on the East Coast.

Net proceeds from the event, conducted by the Western Golf Association, benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation. To learn more about Cassy Tully’s original commissioned paintings, prints, and golf-inspired masterpieces, visit www.cassytully.com

Cassy Displays Limited-Edition Prints of Yellowstone Country Club

It’s been Cassy’s dream to do a project that captures Montana’s rugged beauty, and working with Yellowstone Country Club has been a rewarding experience.

Her painting of the club’s Hole 11 will be reproduced only once as 250 limited-edition signed and numbered matted prints, given by the club as tee gift to its Roundup tournament members and guests. It's a joy for Cassy to share in this spectacular event.

Cassy Commissioned to Paint Masterpieces for Legendary Yellowstone Country Club

Cassy’s latest commission is two spectacular paintings celebrating Yellowstone Country Club. The private club in Billings, MT, is located under the picturesque Billings rimrocks and boasts a magnificent view of the Beartooth Mountains, while its championship golf course was designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Both the breathtaking setting and the new clubhouse, completed in 2019, serve as the ideal backdrop for Cassy’s signature relief-painting technique.

“I am thrilled to create these masterpieces,” Cassy said. “Their members exude a welcoming, family atmosphere and the staff has gone above and beyond to embrace my artwork and support my mission to make a difference.”

Cassy is known for her golf- and sports-inspired paintings, having created artwork for the Ryder Cup, the Arnold Palmer Foundation, several BMW Championships, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the Veteran Golfers Association.

Her partnership with Yellowstone Country Club offers the perfect opportunity to broaden her horizons by creating memories for its members that will shine for generations to come.

Yellowstone Country Club commissioned two breathtaking masterpieces that will be prominently displayed in their new clubhouse. The 40 X 60” signature painting of Hole 18, featuring the clubhouse and incorporating sand from the golf course, will be installed above their magnificent grand foyer stone fireplace.

To celebrate the club’s annual Roundup golf tournament, Cassy’s 36 X 48” original features Hole 11, and is rendered in her sculptural painting style. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. laid out the course, including undulating greens, unobtrusive hazards, and his signature devotion to preserving the land’s natural beauty. His design is ideal for Cassy’s relief-painting style that captures the textural grace of this stunning setting.

This painting will be reproduced only once as 250 limited-edition signed and numbered matted prints, given by the club as commemorative keepsakes to its members and guests playing in the annual tournament, taking place July 14 - 16, 2022.

As a special treat, Cassy is pleased to attend Roundup Week to personalize prints and share the behind-the-scenes story of bringing the masterpieces to life. The week culminates in an extravaganza gala on Saturday, July 16, when Cassy and the club will proudly unveil the original masterpieces to the evening’s guests.

To continue the experience, collectible prints, stationery sets and hand-painted ornaments featuring the club’s signature painting will be released in time for Christmas giving, available exclusively to members in the club’s Pro Shop Retail Program.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a devoted club that values its members and creating memories through artwork,” Cassy said.
